Stir until you reach the right consistency.  She speaks with consistency.  Consistency is the key.

We hear the word used often and in many ways.  What does it mean?  The Merriam Webster’s Dictionary first defines consistency as the “condition of adhering together.”

To adhere is to stick to something.  That is consistency.  Finding what works and sticking to it.

In today’s busy world, the challenge is no longer attempting to find more time in the day.  The challenge is figuring out what takes precedence to fill that time.  Busyness is the accepted norm.  There has arisen a social pressure to remain busy, to fill every moment of the day with something, and be connected to something.

This consumption of time is unavoidable.  With this reality, there are specifics to everyday life, and that means certain parts move to the top of the list.

Fitness is a requirement on that list.

If is too often that one’s physical health be pushed aside, filling time with purposeless browsing, fulfilling the needs of others, or simple laziness.  What is left is someone exhausted, out of shape, out of energy, and someone dissatisfied physically.

If busyness is a consistent part of life, deciding what takes up that time must become equally important.  Making fitness a consistent part of life is one commitment that adds great value.  There is no shortage of information to back the truth of this statement.

It is not simply about working towards the idea of fitness.  It is about adhering to a lifestyle of fitness.  It is understanding that fitness and everyday life become intertwined.  Only then can both create a harmony of beneficial results.  Be committed to this specific busy part of life.

That is consistency.
