Shaun T’s Beachbody Insanity fitness program really lives up to its name. It’s an insane half-hour heart-pumping, endorphin-soaring ride. It’s an insane group of fitness pros sweating it out in the gym. And it’s an insanely good feeling once the results start showing.

But it isn’t all fun and games–unless you make it that way. So, for those who can laugh at themselves, here are 20 thoughts you’ve probably had during Insanity:

1. OK, warm up. I’ve got this. I’m going to crush this warm up.

2. Why am I sweating so much? Don’t take a break. You’re still in the warm up.

3. Water break! Yes! OK, they’re sweating too. No need to worry.

4. Alright, time for the stretch. Get nice and warm. Limber up. This will take about six minutes, which means I really only have about 20 minutes left, including the stretch at the end. I got this.

5. Here we go. First set. Dig deeper. You can do this.

6. Hey! I think this is going better than last time I did this. Yes, definitely better. I’m really getting good at this!

7. Holy cramp, Batman, what set are we on? Still the first one?!

8. I wonder if my neighbors can hear me jumping.

9. Tania IS a machine! How does she do that?! OK keep your core tight.

10. Tania’s taking a break. I can take a break.

11. Is tomorrow recovery day?

12. Tomorrow is Pure Cardio day.

13. I don’t want to do this anymore.

14. Keep going, you’re almost there.

15. Why does that little bar move so slowly during power squats, and so fast during water breaks?

16. Yes! I’m done with the third set! That’s it! Oh. Time for jabs. Awesome.

17. OK flow like water. Pump it out. You’re almost there. How is he doing so many?!

18. I hate this.

19. I love this.

20. I’m so glad I did this.
