As the adage goes, life is a journey and not a destination. Repeat this as a mantra. Essentially, you will travel so long as you are alive. In life, you must remember how you got to the present. Your past won’t change. You must not dwell upon past mistakes. Those mistakes are reference points. They are your guides to success, not obstacles.

Once you realize that no failure is insurmountable, you will succeed and reach heights you never imagined. Always use the adversity you faced, currently face, and will inevitably face as momentum and strive for endurance. Your life is yours and nobody lives it for you. Your responsibility lies with you, so the opinions of others must roll off your back. The only person holding you back in life is you. As you push forward, new obstacles will arise.

The human condition throws emotions in your direction every day. They will be positive. They will be negative. They will be somewhere in between. Let yourself feel them. They too will guide you. Emotions let you know when to walk, jog, or sprint down the path to success. On many occasions, they tell you to rest.

Acknowledge your emotions, but work towards resolving them. Do not under any circumstances let your emotions rule you. A healthy combination of intelligence, consciousness, and strength will form a healthy antidote for self-doubt. On your road to success, express gratitude and place enough positive intention into the world as possible. You will only lose if you quit.
