A lot of nurses want to get as fit as fast as possible but are short on time. Who isn’t tempted to order-in on a long shift or eat the party foods left out for everyone to share? The Insanity Workout and P90X are so popular because we have to burn calories and relieve stress. A new exercise routine, which is really a condensed version of Insanity, is the Focus T25 routine. For some nurses, it’s less intimidating to workout at home.
Mixing it up with a new routine
Focus T25, which is by the same company that came out with P90X, Slim in 6, Turbo Fire and the Insanity Workout, is a type of cross training/interval training workout. The only difference between Focus T25 and many other new workout technique is that it takes only 25 minutes. Expect to sweat profusely and have plenty of water nearby. Having a new routine can help a person stay motivated.
Building muscles without weights
Focus T25 combines interval training with cardiovascular exercises, and plyometric training. You don’t use weights to achieve any results, but still build lean muscle tissue with the new workout techniques adapted by Beachbody. It’s called T25 because the routine can be completed in 25 minutes.
Getting it done
Beachbody’s Insanity uses what it calls maximum or MAX Interval Training. People perform bursts of maximum-intensity exercise and then get to rest for a short interval of time. T25 offers high-intensity, non-stop, 25-minute workouts.
Realizing the benefits of intensity
Like the Insanity workout, some of the benefits of T25 include weight loss, cardiovascular development and endurance as well as an increase in strength. Intense exercise isn’t new, but many of the new workout techniques in the T25 workout are challenging enough to keep you entertained.
