It’s important to make time for your exercise routine every day. If you watch TV, incorporate your exercise while you watch your favorite show.
Everyone is too busy to exercise but it is necessary for weight loss. However, if you look at your “too busy” day, you can find plenty of ways to sneak some exercise into your life. Any amount (no matter how small) is better than none so try some of these today.
Housework, especially outdoor physical work, can count toward exercise. Rake the leaves or mow the yard with a push mower. Both are good exercise.
Play with your children. Do your children like to play baseball, basketball, etc? Get comfortable clothes on and join them. Running and playing with your children burns calories and it is often fun so you may actually exercise more.
Exercise while watching television. You can march in place, do jumping jacks, sit ups, and more while watching television. Afraid of missing something? Spend every commercial break exercising.
When you get stressed, go for a short five minute walk. Several five minute walks add up to a half an hour or an hour. Five minute breaks are usually easier to squeeze into your day, especially if you just really need to walk away from the children.
Walk to work. Now, this won’t work for many people but walk when you can. Running errands close by. Just walk.
Take the stairs instead of the elevator. This is much better for you. It might take slightly longer but will be well worth it.
Park farther away in the parking lot so you have to walk into the store. Short walks add up.
Exercising can be easily fit into your life. You just have to want it enough and use your imagination a little bit. Take short walks when you need to get away. Exercise while watching television. Start walking everywhere that you can. It all adds up, making you a little healthier.
