As I grew up I was determined to make something of my life. I became a Nurse and then a Nurse Practitioner. The final semester of my graduate program is when I found Beachbody. I was working on my thesis titled “Adherence to Physical Activity for a Lifetime”, I had no idea of the opportunity that awaited for me. I was wondering what I was going to do with my degree; I definitely knew I did not want to manage chronic diseases. Preventing them was more to my liking. I have now been a Beachbody Coach since January of 2010; when people ask my what I do, I tell them I am a fitness/nutrition coach, the nurse practitioner comes second. I love what I do and wouldn’t change it for the world. I have freedom now, I travel and see the world (something I have never been able to do). I have developed long lasting friendships, I am able to help people in the way we should be helping people without giving them pills and potions; the quick fix NEVER works!!
Making money is just a bonus for what I do; I have big plans and goals now and have come out of my “shy/reserved shell”. I’m even enjoying being a girly girl with a little tom boy mixed in of course. This is what being a coach has done for me. I am on a mission to “End the Trend”; there is no stopping me!!
