Tis’ the season for cookies and treats! The time of the year where we overindulge and make our New Year’s resolutions even more difficult to accomplish. With work parties and family gatherings, it seems nearly impossible to escape the temptations. But don’t allow yourself to fall victim to holiday bulge. Here are 7 tips for motivation through the holidays.

Having a workout partner can make a big difference and can keep you more accountable. It is hard to cancel on someone who you know is counting on you. Having a workout buddy can make workouts more challenging and fun!

Ditch the scale! Before and after pictures are even bigger confidence boost then losing weight. Seeing results through pictures versus the scale, can leave you excited and wanting more. Through pictures you are seeing your true self, true progress, and what other see when they look at you, not just a number on a scale.

New workout clothes can just be that extra little motivation to get you to the gym. When you look good, you feel good. Gym wardrobe has changed a lot over the last couple years. Most brands have leggings with designs that can be worn anywhere. Wear your gym clothes around the house or to the supermarket, as a reminder to go workout. When you buy clothes that express your personality, you will feel comfortable and confident. Two things that are important when stepping into the gym.
